Analysis and Control of chemical and biological risk

The team of researchers in this unit is dedicated to the development of analytical methods and advanced technologies to detect, monitor and eliminate chemical and biological contaminants from the environment and industry, focusing on substances of concern such as antibiotics, hormones, viruses and resistance genes. The unit’s objective is to protect human, animal and environmental health, thus promoting the One Health approach, actively collaborating with other disciplines to achieve its objectives.
