This past April 22nd, the BBI JU Info Day 2020 took place. In contrast to the past Infodays that took place in Brussels, due to the current situation caused by COVID-19, the event was carried out virtually through of a streaming conference. This event, which can be viewed again at the following link, served as a presentation of the new call that has just been published recently and that will remain open until next September 3.
During the conference, topics such as the contribution of this initiative to the achievement of a bio-based circular economy, the work program of the new call and the presentation and evaluation of proposals were discussed. The speakers included important figures such as Philippe Mengal, executive director of the BBI JU program, Maria Spyraki, member of the European Parliament, and Dirk Carrez, executive director of the Bio-based Industries Consortium, as well as several Project Officers of the program.
The Infoday also has a partnering platform to facilitate the search for partners in order to submit applications and this year has had more than two thousand participants. This platform will allow meetings with interested people until May 12th.
