The Institute of Sustainable Processes was visited by members of the External Advisory Committee.

Visita 01

On 11 and 12 July, the ISP was visited by members of the External Advisory Committee at the different sites of the institute (School of Industrial Engineers – Dr. Mergelina, Faculty of Sciences and UVaInnova) to assess the trajectory of the institute since its formation in 2018. The ISP’s External Committee is made up of professors with a recognised teaching and research career, as well as members of the public administration and the business sector with a long and recognised professional career in their respective sectors.

The members of the External Advisory Committee visited the facilities of the different ISP sites, including the Institute’s new facilities at the Doctor Mergelina site of the School of Industrial Engineering in Valladolid. Furthermore, they met with all the members of the institute in order to know the progress, difficulties and perceptions of each of the members of the institute. The visit culminated with a presentation of the strengths and weaknesses of the institute and a series of recommendations for the ISP to continue progressing satisfactorily on the road to excellence.

The work of the members of the ISP’s external advisory committee is key and essential to the functioning of the institute, as they provide an external view of the institute and advise and propose ideas that serve as a guide to achieve the unit’s objectives.
