ISP researchers participated in the Conference of Women Researchers of Castilla y León.

During the past 11 and 12 November the VI Conference of Researchers of Castilla y León took place, organized by the four public universities of the community, with the aim of giving visibility to the work of women scientists from Castilla y León.

This event consisted of a cycle of conferences given by researchers and / or technologists from the Community’s Public Universities, in which various topics were addressed within the field of Science and Technology. The event had more than 40 scientists and about 250 virtual attendees.

Teresa García, Celia Pascual and Cenit Soto, researchers from the ISP, participated in these sessions with talks dedicated to the valorization of lignocellulosic by-products and residues to obtain bioactive compounds and bio-carriers of energy, hydrogels based on Elastin-Type Recombiners as biocompatible scaffolds and advanced for tissue engineering and on the thermal conductivity of polyisocyanurate (pir) foams using hydrofluoroolefins (hfo) as foaming agents.
