ISP members attended the General Meetings of the European projects DEEP PURPLE and URBIOFIN.

Members of ISP attended the General Meeting of the European project “Conversion of Diluted mixed urban bio-wastes into sustainable materials and products in flexible purplephotobiorefineries” (DEEP PURPLE) in Valencia on 12 May, where the progress of each of the 14 partners in recent months was presented and future work was reviewed.

Also, members of the ISP participated in the General Meeting of the European project “Demonstration of an integrated innovative biorefinery for the transformation of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) into new BioBased products” (URBIOFIN) in Crete (Greece) on 19 and 20 May, where the achievements of each of the 18 partners were presented and future work was reviewed.

Both projects of which ISP is part are funded by the Bio-based Industries Consortium in the framework of the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program.
