Headquarters laboratories - School of Engineering of the Forestry, Agronomic and Bioenergy Industry, of Sciences and UVainnova Building, Campus Duques de Soria, UVa

Laboratory equipped for the analysis, processing, and storage of environmental samples. It is equipped with systems for the management and processing of samples intended for the determination of emerging contaminants.

Laboratory equipped for the physicochemical and microbiological analysis of environmental samples: water, soils, waste, and forest and agricultural products. It has ovens, balances, optical microscopes, pH, conductivity, and temperature probes. It is also equipped with a spectrophotometer and an extraction hood.

This laboratory is dedicated to the experimentation of bioprocesses in the field of environmental management, including water treatment, biogas production, and solid waste treatment. It has 3 prototype-scale anaerobic digesters: one with a 3 m³ volume and two with 50 liters. Additionally, it is equipped with incubators, stirrers for experiments, and a programmable lighting system.

The R&D&i building at the Soria Campus is equipped with 45 hybrid solar panels integrated into the building’s climate control system. It allows the testing of hybridization of different types of renewable energy generation technologies with solar energy: biogas production, and geothermal energy.
